Krill Oil NKO™ Omega 3 with Astaxanthin by Aliness is a high-quality food supplement containing patented NKO™ krill oil (Euphausia superba) – a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), phospholipids, choline and astaxanthin – a powerful antioxidant.

NKO™ technology guarantees exceptional product purity and stability. Omega-3 fatty acids in this form are 2.5 times more absorbable than in traditional fish oils, thanks to the presence of phospholipids, which naturally transport EPA and DHA throughout the body.

The product is characterized by high fat content (98%), mild smell, red color (natural astaxanthin) and excellent oxidative stability. 

According to Codex Alimentarius STANDARD FOR FISH OILS CXS 329-2017, fish oils with a high phospholipid concentration of 30% or more, such as krill oil, must meet the following requirements:

Acid value ≤ 45 mg KOH/g

Peroxide value ≤ 5 milliequivalents of active oxygen/kg oil.

These oils are not tested for TOTOX content because krill oil contains natural astaxanthin, which is a refractive component that interferes with the spectrophotometric analysis of anisidine.
