 Food supplement ProbioBalance by Aliness® Rhamnosus GG Balance MAX contains 5 billion bacteria in each capsule. Each bacterium is coated with a double lipid layer, providing an effective barrier and allowing the bacteria to safely pass through the acidic environment of the stomach to reach the intestines intact, where they can exert their biological activity.

Storage conditions: the product can be stored at room conditions.

Microencapsulated bacteria:
Patented MICROENCAPSULATION technology creates a double lipid layer surrounding the bacterial cell. This revolutionary solution guarantees nearly 100% bacterial survival during passage through the stomach/duodenum. Microencapsulated bacteria are several times more potent than freeze-dried products, so five times fewer bacteria are needed to achieve the same degree of intestinal colonization.

Low water activity (aw):

Probiotic bacteria are very sensitive to water. Manufacturers often use various types of fibre or inulin as fillers. Their environment is unfavourable for bacteria, as their water activity is above <0.2.
The water activity of the carrier is crucial for probiotics. It is the carrier that is in closest contact with the bacteria at all times. If the water activity exceeds aw>0.2, the enzymes contained within the bacteria begin to activate, leading to their death.
If we do not use a carrier with appropriate water activity, various protection measures used by companies such as cellulose capsules, DerrCaps or even aluminum blisters will be of little use.
