Description

White mulberry comes from China. Initially, it was cultivated for the sake of breeding silkworms that fed on its leaves. From China, the cultivation of mulberries moved to other continents, to reach Europe in the 11th century. In Poland, it is quite a popular plant, it is often planted for ornamental purposes. Ripe white mulberry fruits are edible, while we focus on its green leaves, which can be used to prepare a tasty infusion. White mulberry can contribute to maintaining the metabolic balance of carbohydrates in the body.
