Description
Sencha tea is currently the most popular green tea in the world. Its name in translation means stewed tea, which is related to the way it is produced. The leaves are first subjected to a very short scalding, and then they are dried with a stream of warm air. Therefore, they are not ground, but only rolled into vertical rolls.
Sencha is a noble tea with a very pleasant and delicate taste and a nice, slightly grassy aroma. It tastes great both hot and cold - for refreshment.
A method of preparation:
Green teas, especially Japanese ones, need to be brewed at a lower temperature and for a shorter time. It is recommended to pour the leaves with water at a temperature of 65-70*C and brew for no longer than 2 minutes. After this time, the resulting green-yellow infusion should be strained.
