ProADEK® FORTE is a formula in which synthetic vitamin A has been replaced natural beta-carotene, which the body itself converts into vitamin A - according to demand.

Yes, VitaMK7® comes from natural sources. It is produced through a patented biofermentation process using Bacillus subtilis natto bacteria. No other bacteria, such as those used in other forms (e.g., synthetic ones), are involved in the fermentation process.

VitaMK7® contains > 99% all-trans menaquinone 7 (i.e. a pure source of vitamin K). Synthetic sources contain a maximum of 95% vitamin K.

What is the difference between vitamin K MK-4 and vitamin K MK-7?

Vitamin K contains several subtypes, generally designated as menaquinone-N (MK-N), where "N" is the number of isoprenyl groups. Typically, synthetic MK-4 is used for pharmaceutical purposes (requiring a high dose of 45 mg/day). MK-4 vitamin K has lower bioavailability, bioactivity, and serum half-life than MK-7. Vitamin K as menaquinone-7 (MK-7) is the most bioavailable and bioactive form of vitamin K.
